Hello Fellow Democrats,
Let me start by thanking Tex Morgan for his endorsement in my bid for Re-Election to the State Democratic Executive Committee (SDEC). I appreciate his commitment to unity within the Democratic Party. Together we will work to ensure that we defeat Donald Trump and fight to get Democrats elected to The White House, in to the halls of the Texas Statehouse and all the way down to the Bexar County Courthouse. I am proud to have been in the trenches with you throughout the last several years. At times it has meant taking on tough fights that at times were uncomfortable, but resulted in getting good Democrats elected. Together, you and I helped elect a Chairwoman to the Bexar County Democratic Party who has worked hard to clean house and has ushered in an era of renewed transparency to our local party. Monica has done a fabulous job. Together, you and I took on a rogue District Attorney who blatantly abandoned the Democratic Party platform and elected Joe Gonzales. And together, we worked to defeat a Republican incumbent in the Sheriff’s Office and elected Javier Salazar. This election cycle, we have the best opportunity we’ve had in a generation to turn this state as blue as the Texas sky. I ask for your support and your vote as I seek a second term on the State Democratic Executive Committee because I want to continue to put my hand to the plow and work with you to ensure that we are electing GOOD Democrats to office. Democrats that will uphold our platform and will stand up to Trumpian politics.
